The Staff

I have always been connected to the pet world in some way. For a number of years, I wrote the Critter's page at one of the nation's largest daily newspapers. I had a great time writing about topics that pet people care about ... interviewing pet lovers, pet loving celebrities, top veterinarians and specialists in the field of veterinary medicine. A people person, with an entrepreneurial spirit, I have always had this natural connection to pets. Becoming part of the In Home Pet Services family was a great opportunity for me to get involved in a business that would benefit both pets and their owners. A fitness enthusiast, I enjoy biking to my furry friends and spending time walking and running with them. Sometimes you may even see me running around town with my 115 lb. Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, Oliver. I am also trained Pet First Aid & CPR.

Geoff Sinfield
Dog Walker
Geoff, a native of Great Britian, enjoys being part of the IHPS Merrick family. One of the kindest and most reliable members of our team. Geoff has been with us since the start. When he is not walking one of the many dogs he cares for he can be found reading a good mystery novel or spending time with his Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Cooper.

Amy Liss
Dog Walker
Amy Liss is a graduate of University of Michigan and is a true dog lover. After working in various areas, she realized that the one thing that gave her true happiness was spending time with dogs-- hers and others. Dogs add light and love to her life. Amy is a proud mom to her four-legged children, Hannah and Rocco! She is thrilled to be able to spend time with and care for your beloved family members and be part of the IHPS family.

Bill is an animal and outdoor enthusiast. Having dogs his entire life, Bill enjoys spending time with his four-legged friends and sharing in the adventure, whether he is hiking up a steep mountain trail in the Adirondacks, fishing in the ocean or camping at some of the most beautiful and remote parks and preserves in the Northeast. Bill has adopted dogs from The North Shore Animal League and has been the sitter of choice when friends go away and need a place for their pet to go. Dogs, cats and birds sense his gentle and loving manner. If Bill were a dog, he'd be just like his best friend, Oliver, a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, who is strong, sweet and adventurous. Bill is also trained in Pet First Aid & CPR and has a certificate valid through 2016.

Bibiana Baines
Dog Walker
I was born in Argentina and I came to the USA in 1995. I live in Merrick with my husband and my 10 year old boy. When I was a girl my family rescued one stray dog that we named Pirucho. Pirucho lived with us for 22 years. As I was growing up, I continued to rescue dogs. I have always loved animals, especially dogs. Being an animal advocate, I am always involved in some type of fundraiser that benefits animals. Today, I live with my two rescue dogs: Cooper, a pitbull terrier mix and Simba, a german shepherd mix.
