1. How does In Home Pet Services differ from other dog walking/pet sitting services?
Reliability, Honesty, Flexibility, Large Variety of Services - just to name a few! We will go the extra mile to provide the best experience for you and your pet. We will always try to accommodate your individual needs - and this includes emergency or last minute visits at no extra charge, and no cancellation fees if you change your plans. While other services are restricted to dogs and cats, In Home Pet Services will care for all your pets including fish, reptiles, birds, and small animals. We even offer a bird nail and wing clipping service. There's more - when we are at your home, we will also take in your mail and newspapers, water you plants, and turn on tv's, radio's, or lights, based on your instructions,


2. Do you have references?
YES! See the Our Clients section of the website to read comments from many of our happy clients in your area. In addition, all In Home Pet Services sitters and walkers are fully insured and bonded and members of Pet Sitters Associates, LLC. We pride ourselves on making a positive impact on our communities, and are referred by veterinarians, groomers, and other pet professionals!


3. How much notice do I need to give when I need your services? What if I need to cancel?
As much notice as possible is appreciated. We will always try to accommodate last minute changes in the schedule. The schedules are made up every Sunday morning for that week - so try to let us know by then! If you need to cancel, you may call anytime and you will not be charged a cancellation fee provided a sitter has not already shown for the appointment.


4. What if I don't go away often?
That's OK! We keep all your information on file, so when you do need our services, we will be ready. There are no contracts or minimum visits required to remain an active client.


5. How do I pay?
We offer flexible payment plans, by allowing the client to choose their frequency as well as method of payment. You may choose to pay in advance or when you return from a trip. For regular daily/weekly visits you may pay weekly, bi-weekly, or in advance. If paying by check, please make it payable to "In Home Pet Services" or "Cash". When leaving cash, please place in an envelope with our name, or other identifier so we know the payment is meant for us!



6. How much do you charge?
We pride ourselves on being affordable,and extremely competitive in our industry. While we provide services to some very exclusive locations, our rates still allow the average working family to use us as well. Our belief is that every pet owner should have an In Home Pet Services sitter acquainted with their family, and be able to afford the care. Please feel free to email or call for a rate quote.

8. I have a work schedule that changes each week - Can I still have a Dog Walker?
I know that many of you have crazy work schedules and you think it might be hard to find a dog walker if you don't have regular M-F 9-5 job. Well, we have many clients just like you - nurses, teachers, consultants, musicians, waiters - just to name a few. We make our schedules up for the week on Sundays, so if you know what your schedule will be by then, we can definitely help you out. Plus, we'll always try our best to accommodate last minute requests, all at no extra charge. So, if you get stuck late at work or have unexpected plans, there's no need to worry.
